Charlie HAS BEEN IN THE SHEARING INDUSTRY ALL HIS LIFE.
Charlie has been in the shearing industry all his life. His father had a small shearing run in Taumarunui and his mum was the cook.
Charlie started working for Ewen Mackintosh in 1994 at the age of 12. He worked all his school holidays for him, finished school in 1999 and has been full time since then.
Charlie bought shears in Mackintosh Shearing in 2011.
